Branding and Logo Design for Nutritionist- The Reset Project

When a job is more than just a job.

I was lost, I was tired, I was sad, I was lonely, I was depressed and I just didn’t realise how good I could feel. I had been struggling with my own body when I was younger, then I found my love for fitness and became a personal trainer and it changed how I approached everything about my body. I soon realised though that feeling well & looking good is more than just exercising everyday so I decided to go to uni and study nutrition and the more I worked with clients helping them with their meal plans, the more I realised it goes way beyond someone telling you what to eat and now I work with women that want to lose weight but find their spark again to fall back in love with themselves and I know I am here to help them find themselves again by creating their dream life through health and fitness.

About The Reset Project

Why she does what she does

I help women feel more confident, lose weight, have more energy, feel happier and more excited by their lives. I teach them to love themselves, the skin they are in. I want them to see themselves in their greatest light because I believe every women deserves to feel their best.

Miranda’s Values

Step 1: Out with the old, in with the new

Miranda had previously invested in logo design however it was so far from her personality it wasn’t funny and the more I got to know her, the more I realised it didn’t tell you anything about her and the bubbly aura that surrounds her. Take a look at what it was below.

I have never even seen her in monochrome or black clothing in the last 8 months I’ve known her……. She has so much more personality than that. The logo itself isn’t designed poorly, it just doesn’t represent HER!

So we started with creating a moodboard which had a few variations. We went from rose gold and feminine to colourful and slightly retro with a bit of funk thrown in there I think.  Take a look at her inspiration board here

Her brand moodboard eventually ended up to be this…… Isn’t it amazing?

Step 2: Design your kick ass logo

Carlea presented her concepts to Miranda.

The designs were reflective of her brief and inspiration pinned on Pinterest. The designs are beautiful in colour and style, light and uplifting. They are fun, attention grabbing and bold but still maintaining a feminine feel.

The designs offered a style that as I said, actually represents Miranda’s beautiful personality compared to her previous logo.

Here’s the final logo that she decided on.

Step 3.Assemble your Brand Kit.

This is the final step that brings everything together for you. Delivered in a Dropbox format. Included in your brand kit is your logo, sub logo, colour codes, typography and font files, logo patterns, social media covers and icons.

Everything we do has a purpose but you have to do the work for it to make sense and for you to see it all come to fruition.

Step 4.Use your Brand Kit.

Miranda is just getting her head around updating all of her business assets with her new branding. Website to come so stay tuned. Here’s how it’s being used now though in her social media and the thing I want to point out here is that branding is clearly more than just a logo. Our social media manager Stacey has done a fantastic job at turning her branding kit into business posts. One of the changes Miranda has made in this uplevel of her business – physically and mentally, believing in herself and the new model of business and treating her business like a business

Everyone here at TAD is in love with Miranda’s new, professional branding and we absolutely cannot wait for her to come ahead in leaps and bounds over the future years to be able to role model and provide to her young boy what being a true boss lady means.
